Different warranty policies have different coverage levels. Don’t let words like “platinum” or “premium” lead you to believe that you have better coverage. Instead, you want to read your warranty policy and look for which items are “covered”, “excluded” and the “limits”.
But beware, while electricians can provide most any service you need, it is not uncommon to be surprised to find them charging you for service that you thought would have been free. This is typically not because of the electrician, but your warranty company not authorizing them to provide you the service under their coverage.
